The time has finally arrived: the kick-off meeting of the 💶 Erasmus+ Leftover Challenge project, co-funded by the EU!

🌍 On February 22nd, the project coordinator 8D Games bv had the pleasure of hosting in its office in Netherlands the Kick-off meeting alongside our esteemed partners 4th Primary School of Nafplio (Greece), UNIVERZA V LJUBLJANI (Slovenia), SCOALA PRIMARIA CONIL (Romania), and IPPOCRATE AS (Italy).

Our objectives are clear: raise awareness among primary school children about food waste 🍱 and its consequences. We’re diving deep into the root causes of food waste in households with young kids and crafting practical solutions for improvement. 🏡💡

To make learning fun and engaging, we’re developing a serious game specifically tailored for elementary schools. This game will spark open discussions about food handling practices and encourage sustainable habits. 🎲📚

But that’s not all! We’re also committed to supporting primary school teachers in seamlessly integrating this game into their curriculum. Together, we can make a real difference in combating food waste! 🌍💪
